How it works:
They often post FAKE jobs to find their victims. Then they have someone (a telemarketer reading from a script) call you to discuss working with you, giving you a online tool that gets you in touch with the “real jobs”.
Then they start to ask about your 401K and how much money you have for retirement. HMMMM odd question from a career consultant. If you ask questions they have a piece to read from their script about how they will never ask you for your SS number or CC. Why is that in their script? Well it is in their script to try to ease your level of mistrust. You should listen to your mistrust, ask them to tell you something about you… after all don’t they have your resume? No they are just cold calling you and do not even have your email address. Hmmmm odd isn’t it that a recruiter (who is often horse from speaking to so many people trying to scam them) has so much time to spend with you on the phone? That is because they are recruiting you to meet with an investment advisor in your area. They say it is so that they can say they have met you. Yet it is merely to try to scam you from your money. No one has to meet with a finical advisor to apply for a job.
It is hard enough to look for a job in todays market let alone be scammed by a fake job. Make sure to look at your caller ID and look up the number calling you. The number that called me was 310-734-0862… hmmm didn’t they say they were calling from a company in Minnesota? Why then is the caller ID from the Beverley Hills area? Good question, that is because they are actually trying to scam me into meeting with an finical advisor called Warren Elkin. So I look up this number. Hmmm it is a person called Robin Johnson. But your recruiter may be named Nicole Schlageter, John Schrup, Lori Bravo, Chelsea Monson Ziegenhagen, Kari Gavert, Maria Tibke or some other name. Just understand that anyone who calls you saying they are recruiting for a position should know something about you, know the name of the company they are recruiting for, have information about the job they are recruiting for rather than asking you about your savings. You never need to meet with a financial advisor to find a job. SHAME on CPR My Career for scamming people.
Next time a recruiter calls you ask them questions or just let them ramble on with their script it is quite humorous to waist their time.

This is my opinion of this company. Make up your own mind but when I smell a scam I write about it.
This is an image of how Warren Elkin’s name shows up as affiliated with cpr-my-career.
